To bring a malty twist to Veganuary (and beyond!), we've developed a range of hot and cold vegan drinks that recreate favourite desserts - with the warm, toasty notes of Horlicks forming the biscuity base.

This can also be made with Horlicks Original, and vegan ingredients can be substituted for non-vegan alternatives.


Made using Horlicks Vegan.

All malt, no moo. A dairy-free addition to the Horlicks family.


  • 3 heaped tsp Horlicks Vegan
  • 200ml almond milk
  • 1 scoop vegan-friendly vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 tsp almond essence
  • vegan whipped cream
  • 30g chopped cherries
  • 1 crumbled vegan biscuit
  • almond flakes


Place the almond milk, Horlicks Vegan, ice cream and almond essence into a jug blender and blitz at full speed to make a smooth, creamy drink.

Chop the cherries and place 2/3 in the bottom of your favourite glass.

Pour your drink over the cherries and top with vegan whipped cream, a few cherries, almond flakes and a crumbled vegan biscuit.
