The Horlicks story

Back in 1873, Horlicks began life as the first dried milk product. Founded by two brothers, James and William Horlick and developed to support infants and those of poor health. From our humble beginnings, Horlicks went on to nourish soldiers through two world wars, and fortify athletes in the Olympics – even supporting explorers across poles!

In 1906, the brand was first made in the UK and began to make an impact with all ages and still does. Historically a bedtime drink, we're really about helping you to take a moment just for you. Today, as we approach 150 years of Horlicks our distinctive malt flavour is still at the heart of everything we do - known and loved across the world.
