Horlicks s’mores

To bring a malty twist to Veganuary (and beyond!), we've developed a range of hot and cold vegan drinks that recreate favourite desserts - with the warm, toasty notes of Horlicks forming the biscuity base.

This can also be made with Horlicks Original, and vegan ingredients can be substituted for non-vegan alternatives.

All malt, no moo. A dairy-free addition to the Horlicks family.


  • 3 heaped tsp Horlicks Vegan
  • 200ml almond milk
  • maple syrup
  • caramel popcorn
  • vegan-friendly chocolate chips
  • hazelnuts
  • vegan-friendly marshmallows


Bring the almond milk and Horlicks Vegan to a gentle boil, whisking to get a foamy consistency.

Toast the marshmallows by threading onto a wooden skewer and putting under a hot grill until they have turned golden brown. 

Pour the warm Horlicks into your favourite mug and top with popcorn, chocolate chips, hazelnuts and the toasted vegan marshmallows, once cool enough to handle.

Drizzle with maple syrup and enjoy.
