cookies and cream shake

To bring a malty twist to Veganuary (and beyond!), we've developed a range of hot and cold vegan drinks that recreate favourite desserts - with the warm, toasty notes of Horlicks forming the biscuity base.

This can also be made with Horlicks Original, and vegan ingredients can be substituted for non-vegan alternatives.


Made using Horlicks Vegan.

All malt, no moo. A dairy-free addition to the Horlicks family.


  • 3 heaped tsp Horlicks Vegan
  • 200ml almond milk
  • 1 vegan-friendly cookie
  • 1 tbsp vegan chocolate chips
  • ice cubes
  • 2 vegan-friendly cookies
  • vegan-friendly whipped cream
  • vegan chocolate, grated


Add the almond milk, Horlicks Vegan, chocolate chips, crumbled cookie and ice into a jug blender and blitz at full speed to make a smooth, creamy drink.

Crumble a vegan cookie into the base of your glass. Pour in the shake, top with your favourite vegan-friendly whipped cream and garnish with grated vegan chocolate and some cookie crumbs or a whole cookie.
