To bring a malty twist to Veganuary (and beyond!), we've developed a range of hot and cold vegan drinks that recreate favourite desserts - with the warm, toasty notes of Horlicks forming the biscuity base.

This can also be made with Horlicks Original, and vegan ingredients can be substituted for non-vegan alternatives.

All malt, no moo. A dairy-free addition to the Horlicks family.


  • 3 heaped tsp Horlicks Vegan
  • 1 scoop vegan vanilla ice cream
  • 200ml soya milk
  • 1 banana
  • 20ml vegan caramel sauce or maple syrup
  • 1 crumbled vegan biscuit
  • 2 slices of banana
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • ice cubes


Place the soya milk, Horlicks Vegan, banana, ice cream and ice in a jug blender and blitz at full speed to make a smooth, creamy drink.

Pour into your favourite glass and top with a squeeze of vegan caramel sauce or maple syrup and top with a crumbled biscuit, a few slices of banana and a pinch of cinnamon.
