To bring a malty twist to Veganuary (and beyond!), we've developed a range of hot and cold vegan drinks that recreate favourite desserts - with the warm, toasty notes of Horlicks forming the biscuity base.

This can also be made with Horlicks Original, and vegan ingredients can be substituted for non-vegan alternatives.

All malt, no moo. A dairy-free addition to the Horlicks family.


  • 3 heaped tsp Horlicks Vegan
  • 200ml oat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • vegan-friendly whipped cream
  • 1 crumbled vegan biscuit
  • drizzle of vanilla syrup
  • dusting icing sugar


Bring the oat milk, vanilla essence and Horlicks Vegan to a gentle boil, whisking to get a rich, foamy consistency.

Pour into your favourite mug and top with vegan whipped cream and garnish with the crumbled biscuit, a drizzle of vanilla syrup and a light dusting of icing sugar. 

For a seasonal twist, add a light grating of nutmeg, cinnamon and mixed spice for a spiced winter warmer.
