Horlicks Diamond Jubileeice cream with toasted oats & raspberries

Blending refreshing raspberry with smooth oats and malty Horlicks, for the perfect summer dessert.

SERVES 4

  • 350ml milk
  • 300ml whipping cream
  • 4 large free range egg yolks
  • 75g caster sugar
  • 100g Horlicks
  • 40g oats
  • 1 tablespoon demerara sugar
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 125g fresh raspberries
  • 50g good quality raspberry sauce

Horlicks Diamond JubileeCrown Roast of Lamb

A classic dish that looks stunning, making it ideal for special occasions. The creamy, malty flavouring of the Horlicks marries perfectly with the lamb.

SERVES 6

  • 50g unsalted butter
  • 200g fresh white breadcrumbs
  • 1 large onion, finely diced
  • ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Finely grated zest & juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 2 heaped tablespoons Horlicks powder
  • 1 Crown roast of English lamb

MAKES 9 Brownies

  • 200g plain chocolate (minimum 70% cocoa solids)
  • 250g salted butter, chopped into 8 chunks
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 350g caster sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 25g cocoa powder
  • 65g plain flour
  • 4 tablespoons Horlicks Original powder
  • 4 medium free-range eggs

Deep-Fried Salmon Goujons

You'll be amazed how great Horlicks is in the batter. It makes it light, fluffy and extra crispy wrapped around soft, succulent salmon pieces.

Serves 6

  • 600g salmon
  • 400g plain flour
  • Salt and freshly milled black pepper
  • 4 heaped tablespoons Horlicks Original powder
  • 400ml ice cold sparkling water
  • Lemon wedges
